7月31日，中国电信、中国移动和中国联通发布“关于规范互联网渠道售卡管理的公告”。《公告》称：为保障用户权益和数据信息安全，对互联网渠道号卡订购业务进行统一规范。自2026年8月1日起，用户如需在互联网渠道订购号卡，只能通过电信运营商官方App、官方网站等渠道办理，第三方互联网渠道不再提供电信号卡办理相关服务。
运营商在《公告》中表示，近期发现有不法商家冒用“运营商授权合作”名义发布虚假售卡信息，或假借售卡名义收集用户身份证件、住址、联系方式等个人敏感信息，侵害了用户权益，给用户带来了极大的信息泄露风险。
